Carolyne Barry is
an in-demand Casting Director because:
- She has been one of LA's top Commercial Acting
and Improvisation teachers for sixteen years,
a working Commercial actress for twenty five
years, and an industrial and theater director
for eight years. In 1999, she directed a musical
comedy, "Hysterical Blindness", that ran off
Broadway for nine months.
- She has access to a large number of talented,
non-recognizable actors, as well as the more
established talent. Especially stand-up and
improv actors.
- When clients are not able to attend callbacks,
with her teaching and directorial experience,
she can give them a thorough audition tape.
- She directs all the sessions, working with
each actor to bring out his or her best audition.
- Carolyne chooses to limit her clients and
does one job at a time. Which means, she does
the job, not an assistant or associate.
