The focus of the information and skills gained will be to develop freedom for the actors to do their best.
In the first two weeks, Lauri Johnson, utilizing various Commercial Improv audition situations, will focus on building confidence and developing creative freedom as well as working with each student on where they are "being careful." Amy Van Horne teaches the "Green Sheet" techniques (created by Carolyne Barry) for the third and fourth class. Then Lauri Johnson is back to build on the newly acquired skills and insights. As well, teaching how to prevail in those auditions where one has to work with problematic actors.
