- CAROLYNE BARRY
Carolyne Barry, has performed in over 400
national television commercials and for fourteen
years has been one of the most successful
& recommended commercial coaches in Hollywood.
Plus, for the last five years, she has been
doing the LA casting for six of New York's
top directors. The combination of experience
and thorough approach is what makes her innovative
workshops the one to take. Carolyne's reputation
is so widespread, that she has been featured
in the Hollywood Reporter, LA Reader, Los
Angeles Examiner, Backstage West as well as
on CNN, K.H.J., K.T.T.V., and TV talk shows
throughout the country.
INTRO
TO ACTING/SCENE STUDY - ERIC ZIVOT
Eric Zivot is a Teacher, Actor, and Director.
His work as an actor in film, television and
on stage has taken him across the US, Canada,
and to England and includes: JAG, The Alarmist,
Babylon 5, Two Voices, Sunset Beach and Mob
Story. His theater background includes: The
Stratford Shakespeare Festival of Canada,
The American Conservatory Theater, and the
Canadian company of Nicholas Nickleby. Local
Theater includes work at The Fountain Theater,
The Alliance Theater and the NoHo Arts Festival.
A master acting teacher, Eric has been on
staff and guest lectured for some of the most
distinguished actor training programs in North
America including: A.C.T., C.A.S.T., and the
National Theater Conservatory. He is also
a founding member of the Association of Theater
Movement Trainers and has served as a Senior
Mentor for the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
His students are now working actors literally
around the world.
IMPROVISATION
- DONOVAN SCOTT
Donovan Scott is an Actor, Director, Teacher.
Mr. Scott has starred or co-starred in over
30 films, including: Police Academy, Popeye,
Savannah Smiles, Zorro and The Gay Blade,
Sheena, 1941, Splash Too, and Back To The
Future. In Russia , he starred in mini-series
and films as well as directing two films and
one of the mini-series which he co-wrote.
Donovan taught Comedy, Improv. and Mime for
5 years in Northern California as well as
being invited as a Guest Teacher in schools
and universities throughout the North East.
In 1997, he was the director and teacher of
his L.A. Improv Company, Brew Ha Ha in Los
Angeles. For the last two years he has been
teaching the Improv, Intro Acting and Scene
Study workshops for Carolyne Barry. He has
also been an invited Guest Instructor in schools
and universities throughout the U.S. and most
recently, at Stella Adler's Studio, in Hollywood..

AUDITION TECHNIQUE - JULIETTE CUMMINS
Juliette Cummins is an actress, casting assistant,
and teacher. She has been a busy working actress
for over twenty years having starred in such
films as: "Don't Let Go", "Psycho III", "Friday
the 13th" and "Lucky 13" and has guest starred
on many TV shows including: Murder She Wrote,
Simon & Simon, New Love American Style, Whiz
Kids, Maxheadroom, and Black Widow. In the
last 5 years, Ms. Cummins has appeared in
over 60 commercials working with top Cleo
award winning commercial directors. Juliette
trained with some of the elite Los Angeles
Acting and Improv teachers. She taught her
own commercial classes for three years before
being selected and trained to teach for Carolyne
Barry.
